The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) have introduced an Electronic Filing of Tax Returns known as Online Tax Return System (e-Filing System). We are now required to submit tax returns online to include monthly PAYE and SDL returns. (Please see the TRA paye instructions attached).

The e-Filing System is introduced to facilitate and make it easier for taxpayer to submit and acquire relevant information electronically rather than going to the TRA physically. This System is with effect from this August, 2020; where every taxpayer (individual or entity) is required to register into the system through the TRA website.
